Adult Centralized Intake Unit (ACIU) is the entry point into adult services. The gateway into Community Council’s Adult Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol programs begins with an initial evaluation provided by Masters’ level clinicians and licensed psychiatrists. ACIU provides quality comprehensive evaluations for adults experiencing mental health and/or substance abuse symptoms that present to CCMHMR for the first time or are returning to resume care.

Adult Targeted Case Management

 

The Adult Day Treatment Program uses a bio-psychosocial model, combining biological, social and behavioral knowledge, to assess and treat seriously and persistently mentally ill adults in a structured day setting. More>

Adult targeted case management services individuals who have serious and persistent mental illness, persons with co-occurring conditions such as drug and alcohol abuse and other special populations. More>

 

Community Residential Rehabilitation Services (CRRS)

Coping Clinic Adult Crisis
Walk-In Service

The CRRS program provides an integrated program of housing, personal assistance and psychosocial rehabilitation services to adults with serious and persistent mental illness to enable residents/clients to become as independent as possible in residential and community functioning. More>

The Adult Crisis Walk-In Service provides crisis assessment and intervention by phone contact or face-to-face walk-in contact to adult residents of the West Philadelphia area.

Outpatient Service

Coping Plus - Mental Illness/Chemical
Abuse Program

The Coping Clinic provides outpatient mental health services to adults who are 18 years of age and older and their families who are experiencing psychiatric problems. These problems include, but are not limited to psychotic conditions that are active or in remission, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and other serious and persistent mental illness. More>

The Coping Plus Clinic provides outpatient assessment, outreach, education and counseling to the adult with a history of substance abuse and serious and persistent mental illness. Both mental illness and substance abuse have physical, psychological and social components. Professional staff uses a bio-psychosocial approach to address these three factors. More>
