The Children's Central Intake Unit is the gateway into our programs serving children between the ages of 3-17. The intake process begins with referrals via telephone or face-to-face contact and is accomplished by a comprehensive initial evaluation. Consumers and families are then referred to an appropriate service within the agency or to an outside agency.

COPING CLINIC

The Coping Clinic provides outpatient mental health services to adults who are 18 years of age and older and their families who are experiencing psychiatric problems. These problems include, but are not limited to psychotic conditions which are active or in remission, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and other serious and persistent mental illness. The Coping Clinic's services include psychological assessments, psychiatric evaluation, individual, group and family therapy, chemotherapy, case management and community outreach.

Transformations Through Therapy (TTT) is a specialized track within our outpatient mental health clinic (Coping clinic). TTT aims to address the unique behavioral health needs of individuals returning to the community after incarceration with consideration of the complex challenges involved with re-entry. The primary goal of this track is to support individuals with successful community reintegration after incarceration and/or to support individuals on probation or parole in resolving legal conflict while maintaining stability in the community. A few key features of this track include: assessment of risk for recidivism, strengthened connections to community resources, twelve week anger management classes and the option of joining a community reintegration support group to deal with issues such as trauma, stigma, and stress management related to the experience of incarceration and the community reintegration process.
