- Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS)
|
|
Provide individual mental health
interventions and support services in a variety of community-based
settings to clients and their families. These settings include,
but are not limited to; home, school, activity center, church, neighborhood,
or the family’s home.
Position Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Human Services or related field or Associates
Degree with the equivalent of at least three years of full-time
paid work experience.

Professionals provide and coordinate
an array of services, which include the delivery of assessments/treatment
planning, individual, group, and family therapy and case management.
The qualified candidate(s) will be a liaison instrumental in building
and maintaining activities between family members, agencies, and
treatment teams to ensure ongoing communication of treatment effectiveness.
Position Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Human Services or related field.
• Two years experience in clinical counseling—therapy
with children, adolescents, and/or adults is preferred.

CARE (Children Achieving Through Re-Education)

PFI (Pre-School Family Intervention)
Responsible for creating a classroom environment which meets the
developmental needs of individual children and the group as a whole
through on-going regular program planning, carrying out the daily
schedule and lesson plans, and on-going communication with parents
and other center staff. Responsible for creating and maintaining
IEP’s, grade reports, and attend meetings as needed.
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Education or Human Services related
field.
• Minimum of two years experience working within a classroom
setting with children and adolescents.
• Certification preferred or must be emergency cert eligible.

- Mental Health Worker/Teaching Assistant
|
The Mental Health Worker (MHT) will
be expected to assist the teacher with managing the classroom. The
teacher will provide guidance/instruction to the MHT who will then
assist and support the teacher. He/she will be expected to facilitate
classroom activities.

Plan, implement and monitor the management
of children in small groups with the goal of participation in learning
experiences as an instrument in improving emotional and behavioral
functioning. Develop and implement individual treatment plans focused
on improving self-esteem, social skills, and relationships with
peers; complete all administrative and clinical documentation as
required; back up other clinical staff as needed. Hours are 4p-7p
Monday thru Thursday during school year; 1p-7p during the summer.
Position Requirements:
Bachelors or Master’s degree in special education, developmental
psychology, reading and/or related human service fields.

Community Council provides comprehensive
adult residential, mental health, outpatient, pre-school family
intervention, partial hospitalization, psychiatric, psychological,
school based, substance abuse, and Wraparound (BHRS) services.
Position Requirements:
• Have an M.D. or D.O. degree from and accredited school of
medicine or osteopathy in the U.S. or have a valid M.D. from a foreign
school of medicine and have passed the ECFMG and /or FLEX examination.
• Graduation from an accredited residency program and be Board
Certified and/or Board eligible in Adult Psychiatry by the American
board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc.
• Current licensure to practice medicine in the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania
• Provide a current curriculum vitae and a listing (upon request)
of the locations with inclusive dates and reasons for termination
of clerical privileges that were granted at any/all health care
settings.
• Have a valid and current DEA certificate
• Currently enrolled in good standing in the Pennsylvania
Medical Assistance Program
