Learning
Therapy Partial Hospitalization Program
Eligibility:
- Elementary children (ages eight to 12) exhibiting emotional
difficulties such as poor self-image, low motivation and feelings
of failure
- Children where emotional problems have impacted on their academic
performance
Goals:
- To reduce or prevent psychiatric hospitalization or residential
treatment
- To provide a transition from partial hospitalization
- To increase reading ability as an instrument to improving self
image
Services:
- Individual Therapy
- Group Therapy
- Family Therapy
- Educational Assistance
- Transportation provided through Medial Assistance
- General Support Services
Location:
Hours:
- September to June – Monday thru Thursday
- 4:00 to 7:00 pm during school months
- Full day during summer and school holidays w/ lunch
