School-Based
Behavioral Health Program
Eligibility:
- Children and adolescents who attend Philadelphia public schools
and have serious emotional and/or behavioral disturbance and functional
impairment
- Family must have a comprehensive evaluation that includes a
recommendation from an interagency team that the child and family
would benefit from the program
- Children must be BHS/CBH member and eligible for Medical Assistance
Goals:
- To provide an alternative to wraparound services
Services:
- School-base behavioral health services
- Collaboration with other behavioral support systems
- Behavioral modification
- Coping skills modeling
- Individual and/or group rehabilitation
- Case management
- Case consultation with school staff
